Dane County Sheriff Dave Mahoney Endorses Kahl in Assembly Race

(Monona, WI) – Robb Kahl, Democratic candidate for the 47th Assembly District and former Monona Mayor, has earned the endorsement of Dane County Sheriff Dave Mahoney. Mahoney’s endorsement adds to the growing list of organizations, elected officials and community leaders that have endorsed Kahl.
“I worked for years with Robb while he was Mayor of Monona and I know he supports the vital role that the men and women in public safety serve everyday in our county,” stated Mahoney. “I am pleased that he wants to continue his public service to our area and I look forward to continuing our work together to ensure the citizens of Dane County are safe and secure.”
The 47th Assembly District covers all of McFarland and Monona and parts of Fitchburg and Madison. It also encompasses all or part of the towns of Cottage Grove, Blooming Grove, Dunn and Madison.

Prior to his current position, Robb served four terms as Mayor of Monona and he continues to work in the private sector as an attorney and small business owner. As both a State Representative and Mayor, Robb has exhibited a strong ability to work with individuals across the political spectrum to find commonsense bipartisan solutions.
